Hello creators and beings of this heaven on earth.
My name is Brandy Michele Adams and this is my blog “Art Saves Lives”
This blog is very important to me since Art has helped Save my life. In time I will share my story.
We just had a new exhibit open here at WAAS Gallery (We Are All Stars) on April 13, 2013 called
78 On Deck by our Resident Artist Taylor Ellis aka Thunder Wolf in Collaboration with Phillip Mcvean.
This exhibit inhibits so many things. Thunder Wolf spent the last year producing a 78 card Tarot Deck. WAAS is filled with One of a kind Posters framed and unframed along side art installations and furniture created for a enlightening experience. This being said we really want our artist to Let There Light Shine.
In the next few months Art Saves Lives will give you information about the DFW art scene and the artist truly making a difference in there mediums. It also will help guide others in there healing process or begin to heal thru creating or facilitating art work of all kinds.
Thunder Wolf will be here Friday April 26 from 12-5 showing his work and even doing readings.
He also will do an Artist Talk from 6-7 to educate and answer question some might have about the exhibit and what Tarot truly is.
Ellis says, “The breadth of the project itself is something that overlapped an important part of my life. I’ve been studying the cards and performed readings for four years, and in addition to that, the work on each card didn’t stop for me until I felt right about it, like it was an honest picture of the meaning of the card. Spiritually, I would say that my life wandered through the entire deck in that time.”
It took a lot of team work and spiritual connection for this show to be possible and we would love the opportunity to help you shine.
