About Rtadhvaja Swami
Rtadhvaja Swami is a direct student of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder of the Hare Krishna movement. He has been a monk since 1975 and accepted the order of Sannyas (Swami) in 1985. During this time he has traveled the world, teaching Bhakti Yoga and meditation. For 10 years he ran a school for teenage boys, and spent the summers taking them on camping trips around the country. He currently divides his time between Florida, Texas, Asia and India. His approach to Bhakti yoga, Bhagavad Gita and meditation is personal, practical, down to earth and usually quite humorous.
Swami Sangha! Kirtan, Class & Indian FeastAgenda:
- Warm up kirtan – 10 minutes
- Intro to mantra meditation on a mala – 20 minutes
- One round on the mala together – 15 minutes
- Q & A open session to talk about the chanting or whatever you would like to discuss (Bhagavad Gita) 20-30 minutes
- Wrap up kirtan (where we can get down and dance!!!) 20 minutes
- Then food!!!
